Our Impact
Making a Difference Together
At the Friends Foundation of the Nancy Carson Library, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on our community. Through our collaborative efforts and the support of generous individuals, we strive to enhance the library experience for all.
Technology and Collections
With the help of yearly contributions from the City of North Augusta and the kindness of individual donors, the Friends Foundation is able to provide over $10,000 annually to expand and improve the library's digital and print collections. We believe in the power of knowledge and are committed to ensuring that our library remains a valuable resource for information and learning.
Facility Improvements
We work closely with the Aiken County Government to support facility upgrades, landscape beautification, and safe access for our patrons. By investing in the improvement of our library's physical environment, we create a welcoming and comfortable space where individuals of all ages can come together to explore, discover, and connect.
Advocacy
Public funding plays a crucial role in sustaining our community libraries. As the Friends Foundation, we strive to be the collective voice of citizens who advocate for the necessary funding to support our libraries. We recognize the importance of these institutions in fostering education, cultural enrichment, and community engagement. By joining forces and advocating for our libraries, we ensure that they continue to thrive and serve as vital hubs of knowledge and inspiration.
Together, we are making a difference. Join us in supporting the Friends Foundation of the Nancy Carson Library as we work towards building a stronger community through the power of literacy, accessibility, and the joy of learning.
